For this special evening we had been booked to provide our 'Classic Package'.

I arrived and was all set-up and ready for 7pm as requested, and had plenty of time as the wedding was running slightly behind.

Caroline & Alistair are a lovely couple and we started the evening off with the cutting the wedding cake, followed straight away by their first dance.

Their choice of song for the first dance was David Gray – ‘This Year’s Love’ and halfway through the song, all their friends and family were invited to join them on the dance floor.

After the first dance, I played their 2nd request, which was for the bride and her father, Moody Blues – Nights In White Satin.

The guests were fantastic, dancing on the floor, asking for requests as well as enjoying songs from the bride and grooms preferred song choices.

One of the highlights of the evening had to be when I played songs that everybody would sing along to at the top of their voices and loved every minute of it.  These were requested by the happy couple beforehand and included songs by Oasis, Queen – Don’t stop me now, Bonnie Tyler – Total eclipse of the heart, Meatloaf – I would do anything for love.

The penultimate song for the evening was Take That – Never Forget, followed by Lou Reed – Perfect Day.

To see the Caroline & Alistair off on their way together as husband and wife, I orchestrated all their guests to form a long wedding arch for them to pass under, to finish the night off.

It was a great night and it was an honour and a pleasure to be part of the evening celebrations.

I wish them a fantastic future together :)
