Arrived at the venue at around 6.00pm and the staff were already turning the room around, so we were able to set up nice and early.  Spoke to Becky and Tim and ran through their playlist confirming their first five choices and then suggested that as it was raining and people were sitting around, we would be happy to start early.
Their first dance was You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, to which the crowd gave them a massive round of applause.  It was a fantastic night with a packed dancefloor throughout the night, with an audience that clearly loved the nineties.  At 11:45pm I announced Becky and Tim’s last dance which was I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith.  Half way through the last song I called for the guests to form a wedding arch to see the bride and groom off, as requested.  It worked perfectly as the guests were happy and enthusiastic.
As we had a packed floor all night to pick the song of the evening would be a big challenge, but I would have to say that closing with Aerosmith was a highlight. We played for a further 15 minutes to end the night.
Becky and Tim are a lovely couple and were very welcoming and we wish them all the luck for the future.
